Shirogi Craze Case

Have you heard pandesal? yup, it’s more like a pandesal but with a charm (just kidding!). My coffee lover sister told me that I should try this bread. When I said “coffee-lover-sister” I also meant that the bread is best paired with coffee. Well, the bread alone is not bad — Although, I must say, I’ve had better and i’m pretty sure most of people here in CDO wouldn’t agree with me. These amazing people would really line up (yes, a very long line!) just to get some of these breads.

Saw ABS-CBN news maybe weeks ago and guess what? Shirogi craze case got really serious when two people from their bakeshop got their jail-time after selling the Shirogi recipe to some crooked guys. Also, I’ve heard – in just a matter of months, their franchise sprouted like mushrooms in CDO. Oh well, glad to be talking about bread craze in our city rather than any other unhealthy craze we see in other cities. Sophie Be More Report

Today I will talk about the event that I went to last May 25, 2013and this was the Sophie Be More! Fashion and Beauty Soiree held at MallberrySuites Business Hotel. Yes, I know, as much as I wanted to post real time event reports- I failed  {I’m a loser hehe} so here’s my super-late event update . So, shall we? I was overjoyed not just because I was invited to join the event, they also have given me the privilege to share my tips and fashion advices to every ladies who visited Catalog 59 Product Display booth.

Basically, the earlier part of the event was more on the booth activities to keep the guests entertained while waiting. They have this photo booth set-up and I did see everybody enjoyed what was in-store for them. I was at the Catalog 59 Product Display booth where they have a gorgeous collection lined up. People can just choose and check out any bags from the display and experience the quality of each bag. Sooner after all of those activities, it was time for the event proper and the sought-after fashion show! It was fun to watch models do catwalks and the bags look even prettier on stage. Then, you can feel excitement filled the hall when Ms. Ali Forbes appeared and people were so busy taking pictures and videos.

Nevertheless, it was really nice to hear the important people of Sophie Philippines giving positive messages and overview of what Sophie is all about. Somehow it gave me a clear understanding about the business part of this product, the benefits, their goal and vision.

Bling-Bling Nails

Have you seen Nicki Minaj’s nails at one of the American Idol auditions? and, i thought wow maybe, i can only only get those nail polishes in some fancy nail salon in USA or Europe. Guess what? BYS Philippines has this glamor glitter nail set if you wish to have the perfect glittering nails and it is very easy to apply. The packaging has a printed guide but if you don’t mind, let me share the steps with my own nails!

Step 1

After cleaning your nails, apply at least 2 coats of BYS nail enamel. Remember to shake the BYS enamel well before painting it on your nails.

Step 2

Dip it right after the enamel application. On the package, BYS glitters are filled in a neat pot where you can just dip your nails inside it. Cover a thick layer of glitters on the wet nails and make sure all of the area with BYS enamel are covered with glitters. Let it dry for about 5 minutes long.

Step 3

Once dry, Get the brush which is also part of the BYS Glitter package and brush away all the excess glitters that’s around the cuticle or inside your nails {if you have long nails}.

…And we’re done!

It’s pretty easy, right? Of course it is.
